Sights Of The City

Mission: Load in, re-con the subway route to Times Square,
Play The CB's show, then sub-it to
Times Square in time for the
2005 New Year's Eve Countdown

Timid, FUX bass player, and the only member of the entire band responsible enough to have a vehicle AND a valid driver's license.

Roman and Ellie sleep on the way in, preparing for the "The Mission."

Approaching the insanity of  NYC on NYE, Saturday, December 31, 2005

Once we were loaded in, the next phase of the mission was to find the fastest subway route to Times Square

Just one of many subway shows, Grand Central. This guy played guitar upside down, and used five footpedals for different drum beats.

"Follow the people!" Getting off the "S" at 42nd & 7th.

Tim and Jess in Times Square in the most famous city in the world

A sneaky spot to see "The Ball." This is 44th & 9th. Look above us, the Big Ball rests in it's little square home before launching, above the tiny "I Love NY" logo

Tried, but couldn't catch the elusive Ball on film. This was behind the Main View, that you see on TV

As part of the re-con mission, we visit The Big tree in Rockefeller Center...

...and Radio City Music Hall....

...and finally St. Peter's Cathedral for confession.
Then it was back to CBGB's for a FUX show.

After the show...trying to catch the Countdown

Post FUX show: Roman eagerly waits for the #6, hoping to make it in time for New Years countdown, also dodging security from CB's.

Made it! We catch the Six watching our clocks.

Roman lets Ellie get a seat, Don catches Roman's secret act of chivalry

We made it with 5 minutes to spare!
Three!...Two!...ONE!!!...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
This picture can't possibly give you the scope of Times Square on NYE...but you must do this at least ONCE in your life! Ellie and Roman on far left.

Back safe and sound, a toast with Ellie.
All the FUX wish you
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!
All of us at FUX Central wish you the best for 2006,
with lots of...well...FUCKING!
